Sunburst

Description

Based loosely on the ‘Vergina sun’ found originally in ancient Greek art, this 16-point shape has a hexadecagon at its core.

It uses the following stitches and techniques:

• 7 embroidery stitches/stitch variations
• 2 bead embroidery stitches

Finished size is 160 mm diameter

All of the stitches and techniques are to be found in the Freestyle Embroidered Mandalas book.  There are also detail instructions, often with the video clips, in the Resources area in the workroom.
