Using embroidery stitches, loom weaving techniques modified for use in embroidery and beads, the original of this design has been mounted in a small wooden tray. Suitable for intermediate to advanced embroiderers, this project features a variety of stitches and techniques as under:

• 13 embroidery stitches/stitch variations
• 1 bead embroidery stitch
• 5 needle weaving patterns

Finished size is 225 x 105 mm

All of the stitches and techniques are to be found in the Crewel Intentions book.  There are also detailed instructions, often with the video clips, in the Resources area in the workroom.

• There are no instructions in the kit.  Contractual obligations dictate that you need to own the book to gain access to the instructions.

• The line drawing of the design screen-printed onto 450 x 350 mm ivory-coloured dupion silk backed with cotton voile.
