Dancing Threads

Using embroidery stitches, loom weaving techniques modified for use in embroidery, needle lace techniques modified for use in embroidery and beads, the original of this design has been mounted in a small wooden music box. Suitable for intermediate to advanced embroiderers, it uses a variety of stitches and techniques as under:

• 10 embroidery stitches/stitch variations
• 2 bead embroidery stitches
• 3 needle lace patterns
• 3 needle weaving patterns

Finished size is 120 x 77 mm

All of the stitches and techniques are to be found in the Crewel Intentions book.  There are also detail instructions, often with the video clips, in the Resources area in the workroom.
