Product Description

DMC Special Dentelles #80 no. 794 has been discontinued.
The alternative to DMC Special Dentelles #80 no. 794 is Lizbeth #80 colour number 651.
Hazel has worked with these threads and the quality is good. They are a good substitute.

Using embroidery stitches, loom weaving techniques modified for use in embroidery, needle lace techniques modified for use in embroidery and beads, the original of this design has been mounted as a tea tray. Suitable for intermediate to advanced embroiderers. Contents of the packs are as under:

Print Pack:
The First Sip line drawing screen-printed in light blue ink onto a 45/55 Cotton/Linen Off-White blend. The ink is indelible.

Thread Pack:

  • 1 each x DMC 798, 799, 809 and
  • 2 each x B5200, 800 stranded cotton (or their Anchor equivalents);

Special Threads:

  • 5 bobbins x B5200, 3 x 794, 1 x 3753 DMC Perle no. 12;
  • 3 bobbins x DMC 794 Dentelles 80 (or the Lisbeth equivalent if DMC colours are discontinued);
  • 1 each x DMC S799, S800 Satin thread.
