Winter Sunset

Description

A timeless design featuring motifs typical of crewelwork but worked with cotton.   The original of this design has been mounted in a footstool. Suitable for intermediate stage embroiderers. Worked with DMC stranded and perle cottons, the project features a variety of stitches and techniques as under:

• Embroidery: 19 stitches/variations
• Needle Weaving: 4 patterns

Finished size is 250 x 250 mm.

All of the stitches and techniques are to be found in the instruction booklet that accompanies the kit.  There are also detailed instructions, often with the video clips, in the Resources area in the workroom.

• The Winter Sunset line drawing screen-printed onto a natural-coloured linen/cotton blend medium weight fabric.
