Description

Called everything from chicks to chooks, fowls to inkukhu, the chicken is the most widespread of the domesticated animals.  Mostly kept as a source of food, there are many varieties of chicken and this rooster is a fanciful combination of those varieties.  This colourful project uses of a wide range of interesting techniques and stitches as under:

  • 29 embroidery stitches/stitch variations
  • 7 bead embroidery stitches
  • 1 needle lace pattern
  • 5 needle weaving patterns

Finished size is 310 x 280 mm
