Description

The common pheasant, whilst not the brightest of the species, combines colours that are challenging and were too tempting to resist. This colourful project uses of a wide range of interesting techniques and stitches as under:

  • 29 embroidery stitches/stitch variations
  • 7 bead embroidery stitches
  • 1 needle lace pattern
  • 5 needle weaving patterns

Finished size is 310 x 280 mm

All of the stitches and techniques are to be found in the Crewel Birds book.  There are also detail instructions, often with the video clips, in the Resources area in the workroom.
