Description
This huge and interesting animal, a throwback to the time of the dinosaurs, is critically endangered because of poaching. Whilst normally seen with tick birds perching on their backs, Roger has been prettied up with Jacobean Flowers instead. Including the random freestyle embroidery technique, there is a large variety of stitches and techniques as under:
- 11 embroidery stitches/stitch variations
- 4 bead embroidery stitches
- 3 x 3-dimensional beadwork elements
- 1 needle weaving pattern

Finished size is 430 x 315 mm

All of the stitches and techniques are to be found in the Crewel Creatures book. There are also detailed instructions, often with the video clips, in the Resources area in the workroom.
