Embroidery Project Packs: Bob

Description

The black and grey vervet monkeys that play on my roof and jump between the trees in my garden fascinate me because so much of what they do is similar to what I see humans doing in the world around me. I have chosen to give this monkey the colouring of the macaque monkeys that are widespread in Asia.  This project includes the use of a wide range of interesting techniques and stitches, as under:

• 17 embroidery stitches/stitch variations
• 11 bead embroidery stitches
• 4 x 3-dimensional embroidery elements
• 2 needle lace techniques
• 1 needle weaving pattern

Finished size is 200 x 220 mm
