Description

Using embroidery stitches, stumpwork techniques and bead embroidery stitches, the original of this design has been mounted as a drinks tray. Suitable for intermediate to advanced embroiderers, the variety of stitches and techniques is shown below:

• 11 embroidery stitches/stitch variations
• 4 bead embroidery stitches
• stumpwork techniques

Important Note:

It is important to note that the sizes of the stumpwork elements that form part of this design are incorrect in the Crewel Intentions book.  If you click here, you will be able to download a PDF which, when printed out will give you the correct sizing.

Finished size is 225 x 105 mm

All of the stitches and techniques are to be found in the Crewel Intentions book.  There are also detail instructions, often with the video clips, in the Resources area in the workroom.
