Midnight Meander

Description

Using embroidery stitches and bead embroidery stitches the original of this design has been made into a scented pomander cushion mounted in a silver bon-bon dish. The cushion stuffing has been injected with cinnamon essential oils, which infuse their scent throughout the room. Suitable for elementary stage embroiderers, it uses a variety of interesting stitches and techniques as under:

• 9 embroidery stitches/stitch variations
• 2 bead embroidery stitches

Finished size is 165 mm diameter

All of the stitches and techniques are to be found in the Crewel Twists book.  There are also detailed instructions, often with the video clips, in the Resources area in the workroom.
