Summer Jewels

Description

Inspired by Crewelwork motifs, wallpaper and textile designs, this project updates the age old art with a design that has evolved for the 21st century.

The project features a variety of stitches and techniques as under:

• 16 embroidery stitches/stitch variations
• 5 bead embroidery stitches
• 3 needle lace techniques
• 3 needle weaving patterns

Finished size is 300 x 335 mm

There is a video dictionary for this design in the workroom.  In this dictionary you will find video clips of all the stitches and techniques used in this design.  Along with each video clip on the page there is a downloadable and printable document that gives you step-by-step written instructions with illustrations.

Contents of the full kit are as under:

• There no instructions in the kit.  Contractual obligations dictate that you need to own the book to gain access to the instructions
• The line drawing of the design screen-printed onto ecru-coloured cotton twill backed with cotton voile
• The ink is indelible
