Rambling Vine

Description

Combining crazy patch techniques with needle worked embellishment and a crewel embroidery panel, the original of this design has been made into a wall hanging.  Instructions on how to make up the wall hanging are at the end of the embroidery instructions in the book.  It uses a wide varierty of stitches and techniques as under:

• 29 embroidery stitches/stitch variations
• 2 bead embroidery stitches
• 10 x 3-dimensional beadwork elements
• 3 needle lace patterns
• 5 needle weaving patterns
• 2 silk ribbon embroidery stitches
• 5 tatting patterns

Finished size is 530 x 530 mm diameter

All of the stitches and techniques are to be found in the Crazy Patchwork book.  There are also detail instructions, often with the video clips, in the Resources area in the workroom.

Print Pack

• There are no instructions in the kit.  Contractual obligations dictate that you need to own the book to gain access to the instructions.
• You can buy the South African edition of the book here.  World English editions are available at amazon.com.
• The Rambling Vine pattern, including space for the crazy patch panel, screen-printed onto 800 x 700 mm natural-coloured cotton linen blend backed with cotton voile backing.
• The ink is indelible

Fabric Pack

• Quilting fabric ranges come out a couple of times a year and previous ranges are then no longer available.  The fabric pack for this design includes close matches to the 15 fabrics used in the original in sufficient quantities to complete the Rambling Vine panel.
