Work through the video clip with perle no. 5 thread on circle that measures 25 mm in diameter. Weave through the needle lace with 4 mm ribbon and twisted perle no. 12 thread. Then, when you are satisfied that you are beginning to understand the concept, particularly the tension, you work the technique using finer and finer thread – first perle #8, then perle #12 and even Dentelles #80.
