Contemporary Eagle

Description

In the Crewelwork Then and Now book, there are two versions of the Eagle design.  There is a version worked by Phillipa with traditional techniques and crewel wool and then there’s this one.  The design is identical but the techniques and materials are updated for the 21st century.

The project features a variety of stitches and techniques as under:

• 16 embroidery stitches/stitch variations
• 5 bead embroidery stitches
• 2 needle lace techniques
• 3 needle weaving patterns

Finished size is 310 x 250 mm

Dictionary of Stitches and Techniques

There will be dictionary of stitches and techniques published in the workroom to coincide with the publication of the book.

Contents of the full kit are as under:

Print Pack

• There no instructions in the kit.  Contractual obligations dictate that you need to own the book to gain access to the instructions
• The line drawing of the design screen-printed onto winter white cotton linen blend backed with cotton voile
• The ink is indelible
