Description
Portuguese knotted stem stitch has, as its name suggests, little knots at regular intervals. It is an interesting stitch and useful if you want to create a gnarled look when stitching a stem or branch.
In the video clip on the tuition page, the technique is worked with perle no. 5 threads on a curved line. Instructions are provided on the tuition page and there is also a downloadable and printable PDF document with the same instructions and illustrations.
The 5¾ minute video tuition clip is filmed in high resolution and is accompanied by voice over instructions to guide you through the learning process.
