Description

The technique described in this mini-workshop teaches you what you need to know if you want to attach a flat back crystal (rhinestone) to your embroidery.  In our designs, these are used to depict the eyes of animals, bunches of berries or grapes and also, to enhance the centres of flowers along with additional embellishment within the petals of flowers. In the video clip on the tuition page, a 25 mm plastic button was attached using perle #5 thread.  This was used for the sake of clarity but, at the same time, whilst you would never attach such a button to your work, my suggestion is that when learning to work this technique, you use a similar button.  The combination of the larger button and the thicker thread means that you can clearly see what you are doing.   Along with video clip, there are full instructions with diagrams and tips on the page.  Downloadable PDF instructions are also accessible on the page. The 16 minute video tuition clip is filmed in high resolution and is accompanied by voice over instructions to guide you through the learning process. Purchase it now and you will be sent the link and password to enter the private domain where you will find this mini-workshop.
